Duffy! Duffy! Duffy!

When I was a youngster, I watched a
drummer on the Sammy Davis Jr. I was
overwhelmed by this kid!

His name is Duffy Jackson!!!

Duffy Jackson is my personal favorite drummer. This guy has more energy in his bass foot than most musicians have in their whole band. And nobody, NOBODY, swings like the Duffster. I only wish he would loose about 100lbs. He'll live (and play) longer.

Yeah Pete!! [img]cool.gif[/img] hat a nice welcome back mate - haven't been her for a week as I just moved into a new house.... Duffy rocks and swings so hard too!
I saw him at the Pizza Express here London a few years back and weas really impressed. Cheers for this Peter.

I've seen him on video. He has a couple of cymbals way up in the air. One only need to see him and realize he is amazing. Thanks for the killer track!

Peter,

OMG! Drummerworld just put up an old video of the Duffster (about 75 lbs ago) doing a drum battle with Lionel Hampton. Just too much. Obviously, Duffy is being kind to Lionel. But you still get a taste of Duffy's amazing chops and swing time.

BTW, if you like the way Duffy plays the drums, you should hear him play vibes, piano, string bass, and scatt while swingin on the drums.
